“Non stop prayers—love you my girl xo,” shared former Today host Hoda Kotb, while Katie Couric wrote, “Sending love to you Savannah and your entire family. Holding all of you in our hearts and keeping the faith that your mom will be with you again soon.”
Savannah has also been receiving support from her current on-air family, including Today With Jenna & Sheinelle’s Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones, who emphasized Nancy’s precarious health in their message.
“We love Nancy, I know her personally,” Jenna said during her show on Feb. 2. “And we just want to report, too, that she takes daily medication and she needs them for survival. She’s without her medication so we are thinking of our dearest, dearest Savannah and her whole family right now. Our prayers obviously go out to Savannah and the entire family.”
It’s Nancy’s physical health that also has police worried. While local Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed Nancy’s cognitive health, he said during a Feb. 2 press conference that her physical health meant she would have been unable to leave the home on her own.
Because of this, “investigators believe she was taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night,” a spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Office told MS Now Feb. 2. "Detectives are looking into a possible kidnapping or abduction.”
