“It’s a Life of a Showgirl reference, boys, come on,” New Heights producer Brandon Borders told the Kelce brothers, after a fan expressed disappointment that none of none of the podcast's new merch read, "New Heights of Man-Hoodie."
"The lyric, ‘New Heights of manhood,'" Brandon continued, "it’s the time we were referenced in the album.”
While Jason reasoned he's "not as good with the Easter eggs as these Swifties," Travis simply admitted, "I didn’t understand that."
But that's not to say Travis hasn't picked up on all the double entendres in the track. After all, he is not looking forward to the day dad Ed Kelce hears "Wood," in which Taylor sings about how "love was the key that opened my thighs."
As Travis put it during an October episode of New Heights, "Dude, I'm terrified."
Still, the athlete thinks it's "a great song."
"I love that girl," Travis said of Taylor, adding that he's honored by "any song that she would reference me in."
