“Miss Piggy, I’m sure you get this all the time—I actually meant to tell you earlier—but you’re my idol,” the 26-year-old says in the The Muppet Show. “Yeah I’ve basically modeled my whole look and style after you.”
Acknowledging her accolades with her signature wit, Miss Piggy responds, “Oh trust me, my attorneys and I have taken notice and we will be in touch.”
Of course, the Muppets aren’t only graced by Sabrina’s presence for the return of their eponymous show, which comes 50 years after Jim Henson’s original sketch series debuted. The crew will also be joined by Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph and The Studio’s Seth Rogen, who also executive produces the special.
“He is such a giant in the comedy world, and he just happens to love the Muppets,” Kermit continued to E! News. “He was willing to do whatever he could to help make this special. He was great.”
However, Miss Piggy may have been a little too self-involved to know just how much work Seth put into the show. As she put it, “He was an executive producer?”
The Muppet Show airs Feb. 4 on Disney+ and ABC at 9 p.m. In the meantime, read on to see what else is hitting TV screens soon.
