"There was a huge lack of trust there," she admitted. "I don't believe that she did it intentionally to hurt me. I think she did it to try to help the situation, but she kept making it worse and kept making it worse by sharing the information."
As for who Robyn was allegedly sharing her conversations with? Meri—who ended her 32-year polygamous marriage with Kody in 2023—added, "A friend that she had at the time that was in communication with the catfisher."
For Robyn's part, she denied Meri's claims.
"I've had her freaking back," she told host Sukanya Krishnan. "I was sitting there watching everything that was happening and I was worried about her."
Meanwhile, Kody—now in a monogamous relationship with Robyn since also splitting from second and third wives Janelle Brown and Christine Brown—did acknowledge that Robyn told him about the catfish. However, he emphasized, "I don't know that she was told that in confidence or if she saw that online."
Although Meri felt that Robyn was not trustworthy, Kody, 57, stood by his wife's side. In fact, he described Robyn as the "moral compass in this entire family since she entered it."
