But the 55-year-old—who briefly dated a man named Amos after she and Kody broke up in 2023—wasn't interested in giving away too many details.
"Ron and I don't date. Ron and I hang out and enjoy each other's company," she said, quipping, "I'm going to have to ask Ron how he feels about this conversation."
As Meri embraces her romance, Kody—now in a monogamous relationship with Robyn Brown since also splitting from second and third wives Janelle Brown and Christine Brown—is standing in his ex's corner.
"It looked like a lot of fun," he told Sukanya of Meri's flirtations with Ron. "There's some good energy there. It looked great. It's this exciting experience when you first meet people. It's just really cute."
"Whether they work or not, there's this excitement that you get watching it," he continued. "I haven't seen a lot of that in a long time. It's like seeing her in a happy element. It's great."
Meri—mom to her and Kody's child Leon Brown, 30—hasn't been shy about what she's looking for in a partner since becoming single.
"Listen, if somebody doesn't like me and all my snort laughter, then they just aren't going to get me," she said in a September episode of Sister Wives. "Then they're just not my person."
But it hasn't been an easy experience for Meri—who was previously the victim of a catfishing scheme more than a decade ago—either.
"I've dated a little bit and I have had experiences where I believe that some people are not interested simply because of my background," she shared on a May episode. "Because I come from a plural family, maybe they're nervous that that's what I want."
"There's a lot of uncertainty, and I really need to be able to trust somebody and believe what he says," Meri continued. "I need to be able to trust that when a person tells me he loves me, he really does."
