Technology that aims to understand our health metrics to help us live longer, boost reproductive and mental health, or improve our skin, featured heavily at the largest technology conference in the world.

Here are some of the finds by Euronews Next that caught our eye.

It was hard to miss the pod that tips you backwards to a zero gravity position, gives you a massage, and plays bird song. It was even harder to get out of it and back to the busy conference floor.

The French company Reconcept says the zero-gravity position can reduce muscular strain and aid deep relaxation. It also said that it could help with gut health. Meanwhile, the sounds that are played can support emotional regulation.

The company says that the technology is being used in armies to help with stress, as well as by athletes to help them recuperate, and by companies to prevent their employees from suffering from burnout.

Another French company stealing the health show is yet again Withings.

It launched a smart scale that has so many benefits and can count up to 60 health metrics. The Withings Body Scan 2 can check hypertension, cardiac efficiency and reactivity, metabolic efficiency and many more.

In a demo, only four metrics were tested, including heart age, muscle-fat balance, and arterial stiffness. But it was a pretty detailed reading, and I was told to walk 3,000 more steps per day.

Withings says the smart scale should be used 2-3 times per week and even every day, so that it delivers progress reports over the long term. The company says this is really a scale that can be used for longevity, and it will give tips on how to improve your health.

It will be released for purchase this year and is expected to cost around €499.

Even menstrual pads became smarter at CES 2026.

The device by Vivoo measures follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels directly on the pad. The data can then allow users to track their fertility and hormonal health, as well as if there are any infections.

Each pad is expected to cost around €3 to €4 per pad, and there would then be a subscription.

Those suffering from food allergies may feel less anxious when eating out thanks to a new device that can instantly tell you whether your dish contains food you are allergic to.

The French company Allergen Alert has created a small portable device that smashes a food sample, dilutes it and then assesses whether it contains lactose or gluten.

CEO Antoine Burgaud told Euronews Next that she created it following her daughter’s allergy to dairy.

The device is US Food and Drug (FDA) approved, and it is being used in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Paul Bocuse to check for cross-contamination.

The device is expected to have a price point of around €200 when it is released, and there will also be a subscription to pay for.

Beauty giant L’Oréal unveiled an LED face mask, which it says is the world’s thinnest, unlike the current rigid panel LED masks

It is made of silicon and has special, separate parts to target the undereyes, which current LED masks do not have. They use red light and near-infrared.

The technology combats fine lines, uneven skin tone, and sagging. It should be used for 10 minutes per day.

Asked whether LED masks can really deliver, Guive Balooch, L’Oréal’s global vice president of augmented beauty, told Euronews Next that they can if they have at least 630nm of red light and 830nm of near-infrared light, which is what dermatologists recommend. L’Oréal’s LED mask does reach this threshold.

The devices are not expected to be released until 2027, and no price has been set. However, Balooch said it would have a mid-range price.

But with LED masks costing from €100 and going up to over €2,000, it has a wide margin for where its price could fall.
