Haryanvi artist Pranjal Dahiya, who rose to fame with the hit song “Mera Balam Thanedaar,” caused a stir during a recent live performance after she stopped the show midway to address a fan in the audience for alleged misbehaviour.
According to reports, while Pranjal Dahiya was performing on stage, a man from the audience allegedly behaved inappropriately, leaving the singer visibly upset. Reacting strongly, she halted her performance and addressed the crowd directly, urging them to maintain decorum.
The video of the incident has since gone viral, triggering a debate. “You people should think that your sister and daughter are standing here, so behave properly,” she said on stage.
Calling out the man in question, Dahiya said, “Uncle, I’m your daughter’s age. Please control yourself.” She also requested that audience members refrain from climbing onto the stage and appealed for their cooperation so the event could continue smoothly.
“We still have a performance left. Please enjoy yourself and cooperate with us,” she told the crowd.
Every artist deserves respect. If people in the comment section say she has taken money, then if tomorrow your daughters become artists, she too needs to dance like what you expect from others,” a user backed Dahiya. “Indian men can’t respect woman,” another user commented.

Recently, Kailash Kher’s concert in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, caught attention after fans exploited security and jumped the barricades, rushing toward the stage for a better view of the singer. Responding to the chaos, Kher—during the concert—said, “I’m praising you all, and you are behaving like animals. Please don’t behave like animals. If anyone comes anywhere near our instruments or equipment, we’ll stop the show.”
