Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Box Office Collection Day 2 Update: The Anil Ravipudi directorial Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu finally hit theatres on January 12, and fans of Chiranjeevi gave it quite a warm welcome. After earning Rs 8.75 crore through pre-release screenings and Rs 28.75 crore on its opening day, the film saw a dip on day 2. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 19.5 Cr on day 3 of its theatrical run, taking the total collection in India to Rs 61.1 Cr.

It’s important to note that Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is also going toe to toe with the Prabhas starrer, The Raja Saab. The Maruthi Dasari film has already made Rs 119.48 crore net in India. Both films are currently duking it out at the box office, and even though The Raja Saab has a head start, only time will tell which film is more profitable.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu recorded an overall occupancy of 54.85% on Tuesday. The morning and afternoon shows registered 32.61% and 53.60%, respectively, while the evening and night shows saw occupancies of 65.14% and 68.03%.

Chiranjeevi’s last film, Bholaa Shankar, also starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh, couldn’t really crack at the theatres. The film’s theatrical run was only 2 weeks long, and it earned Rs 30.63 net in the country. In Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, the star is also joined by Nayanthara, whose last film, Annapoorani, also didn’t fare well at the box office, earning Rs 4.55 crore net domestically. Both actors have already surpassed those numbers, and they will be hoping for a strong finish to the first week.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the cast of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu includes Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Catherine Tresa, Venkatesh Daggubati and Sharat Saxena.
