Another celebrity wedding is on the news and under the camera flashes of the media, as tennis star Venus Williams and actor Andrea Preti have just tied the knot, again. The two initially got hitched in September, during a ceremony at Ischia, Italy. But the two wanted to renew their vows just a couple of months later, and they had anything but an intimate and simple affair. The celebrities received a lot of congratulatory messages from their respective industries, and Venus even got a special message from her sister, Serena Williams.
Venus, who has won 7 Grand Slam singles titles, posted several pictures with her beau and her different outfits for week 1 of the celebration. She later posted a wedding picture, with the caption, “Mr & Mrs Preti 🤍 A dream come true.” Along with that, she also posted pictures in all the looks she rocked during the wedding celebrations. The couple even collaborated with Vogue Weddings, who wrote a caption on their social media account, celebrating the couple.
They wrote, “Following their Italian celebration in September, the tennis legend and the actor finally tied the knot in Florida this past weekend with a fashion-filled week of events. ‘We all love each other so much,’ Venus says. ‘It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.'”
Everyone knew that Serena, with whom Venus shares 14 Grand Slam doubles titles, was going to get in on the celebration. She wrote, “My sister’s keeper. Venus, where do I even begin? From the backyard courts to the biggest stages in the world, you’ve always led with grace, strength, and a heart bigger than any trophy. Watching you step into this next chapter surrounded by love felt like watching the sun rise…steady, powerful, and full of promise.”
Serena continued, “You’ve been my built-in best friend, my protector, my teacher, and my reminder to always walk in purpose. Seeing you this happy, this loved, this radiant… it means everything to me. To love, to partnership, to laughter, and to a lifetime of choosing each other every single day. I couldn’t be prouder to stand beside you, not just today, but always.”
The Denmark-born actor also spent much of his teenage life in Italy. After spending many years as a model, he studied acting at the Susan Batson Academy in New York City, according to IMDb. He penned, helmed and acted in the 2014 film One More Day and also featured in an Italian series called A Professor. He first got linked to Venus after the two were seen enjoying a boating trip in July 2024 along the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
