Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have finally introduced their baby boy to the world. The actor couple shared a beautiful glimpse of the baby on social media, with his name ‘Vihaan Kaushal’. Fans were quick to recall that their little one’s name has a connection with Vicky’s 2019 war drama, Uri: The Surgical Strike. Now, the film’s director Aditya Dhar, who is basking under the success of his latest project Dhurandhar, has reacted to it on their post.

On Wednesday, Vicky and Katrina shared a joint post on Instagram, announcing their son’s name. Along with an adorable picture of the couple holding his tiny hand, they wrote in the caption, “Our ray of light, Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world is changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words.” The announcement caught attention of fans, who noticed the coincidence between the name and Vicky’s role as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in Uri.

Reacting to the same, Aditya Dhar also congratulated Vicky and Katrina in his own style. Taking to their Instagram post’s comments section, the filmmaker said that life has come full circle for the actor. “@vicky @katrina huge congratulations!! Mere Vikkuuu, from bringing Major Vihaan Shergill to life on screen to now holding little Vihaan in your arms, life really has come full circle,” he wrote. “All my love and blessings to the three of you. You’re both going to be extraordinary parents,” he added.

Dhar wasn’t the only one who reacted to the link, as Vicky’s fans also flooded several comments and posts on social media. They pointed out his character and their son’s name connection and mentioned how Uri was a life-changing film for his career, and so will be his first born. “The character that won Vicky a National Award for being the Best Actor will now live on as his son,” a fan wrote. “Simple and nice !!! I see Uri gave Vicky a lot…. including his son’s name,” another user commented. “Very unrelated but Vicky’s first big break Uri had its protagonist name as Vihaan. Sweet,” a third comment read.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were blessed with their baby boy in November 2025. The couple got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Rajasthan in 2021.
