Jana Nayagan Audio Launch Date, Time: ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay is currently gearing up for what is being touted as the final film of his illustrious acting career. The actor’s 69th film, titled Jana Nayagan, is set to hit theatres on January 9. Directed by H Vinoth, the film stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Priyamani in pivotal roles, while Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will be seen as the antagonist. Adding to the scale and sentiment surrounding the film is its much-anticipated audio launch, which has been planned as a mega international event. Titled “Thalapathy Thiruvizha,” the audio launch is designed as a grand, day-long tribute celebrating Vijay’s three-decade-long journey in cinema.
The Jana Nayagan audio launch will take place on December 27, 2025, at Malaysia’s iconic National Stadium, Bukit Jalil. The event will begin around 12:30 pm (India time). With an expected footfall of 75,000 to 90,000 fans, it is being touted as the largest gathering for a Vijay-led event outside India.
For fans across India and worldwide who cannot attend in person, the audio launch will be streamed on Zee5 Tamil on January 4, just five days ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
The event will be graced by Jana Nayagan’s music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who will lead a live orchestra featuring nearly 30 singers. The musical lineup will include a retrospective of Vijay’s most iconic songs along with performances of the film’s newly released tracks.
Notable singers expected to perform include Anuradha Sriram, S.P. Charan, Tippu, Shweta Mohan, Andrea Jeremiah, and Yogi B. Additionally, celebrated directors Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson Dilipkumar, and Atlee are expected to attend the event to pay tribute to the superstar who headlined some of the biggest films of their careers.
While the makers are yet to officially announce the trailer release date, reports suggest that it will be unveiled as a special New Year’s gift, with a tentative release expected on January 31.
Tickets for the Jana Nayagan audio launch are currently available for purchase on the Ticket2u website. Prices range between Rs 2,000 and Rs 7,000, with separate allocations reserved for celebrities and VIP guests.
