Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri box office collection day 6: Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri did not receive a massive release. Despite being a Dharma Productions venture, the romantic comedy managed only 2,290 screenings on its release day. However, releasing on Christmas gave the film an initial advantage, as audiences turned up in theatres, especially given Kartik Aaryan’s post-pandemic success streak with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and Satyaprem Ki Katha. Unfortunately, that momentum could not be sustained with the film receiving negative reviews. The film earned Rs 1.75 crore on Tuesday and has earned a total of Rs 27 crore in 6 days.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri opened at Rs 7.75 crore but soon witnessed a sharp decline. It dipped by 32.26% on Day 2 and fell further on its first Monday, collecting just Rs 1.75 crore. On Tuesday (Day 6), the film again earned only Rs 1.75 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Its six-day total now stands at Rs 27 crore, with trade experts predicting a lifetime collection in the range of Rs 40–50 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh told Bollywood Hungama, “It’ll do around Rs 40 crores. If the word of mouth had been positive, the holiday period would have worked in its favour. In fact, it was word of mouth that took Dhurandhar to great heights. Its initial days were not very strong, but the way audiences embraced the film was unprecedented. Everywhere I go, people are only talking about Dhurandhar.”

The romantic comedy has also seen a reduction in the number of screenings. From an initial 2,290 shows, the count has now dropped to 1,858—432 shows fewer.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar continues to earn in double digits despite being in its fourth week, making it a safe bet for theatre owners and multiplex chains in terms of footfall. Another strong contender at the box office has been James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which collected Rs 5.15 crore on Monday.

While Cameron’s film is on track to cross the Rs 150 crore mark in India—having earned Rs 148.12 crore in just 13 days—Dhurandhar has been on a box-office rampage globally, with its worldwide collection nearing the lifetime earnings of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, having crossed Rs 1,100 crore.

Looking ahead, Agastya Nanda’s upcoming film Ikkis, scheduled for release around New Year, could further dent the Kartik Aaryan starrer’s box-office prospects, potentially causing it to taper off.

Directed by Shriram Raghavan, Ikkis is also notable for being the final film of veteran actor Dharmendra.

Kartik Aaryan has two more releases lined up for 2026—a comedy titled Naagzilla, followed by Anurag Basu’s untitled musical drama.

Speaking about Naagzilla, trade analyst Atul Mohan told Bollywood Hungama, “There hasn’t been a film based on a naag for a long time. One of the biggest hits of Sridevi’s career was Nagina (1986). Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin franchise is also immensely popular. Hence, it could offer audiences a completely different cinematic experience.”

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday still awaits a hit.
