UGC NET December 2025 Answer Keys Out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys and recorded responses for the UGC NET December 2025 examination, along with the question papers, on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now review the answer keys and raise objections, if any, within the stipulated timeline. Candidates can access the response sheet and answer keys by logging in to the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The UGC NET December 2025 exam was conducted for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in the country. According to the official notice, the provisional answer keys, question papers and recorded responses were uploaded on January 14, 2026, and will remain available for challenge till January 17, 2026, up to 11:50 pm.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer keys may submit challenges by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question. The objection window will remain open from January 14 to January 17, 2026, and the last date for payment of the processing fee is also January 17, 2026 (11.50 pm).

The fee can be paid only through online modes such as credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.

Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link for UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key Challenge.

Step 3: Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.

Step 4: View the question paper, recorded responses and provisional answer key.

Step 5: Select the question(s) you wish to challenge and upload supporting documents, if required.

Step 6: Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question through online mode.

Step 7: Submit the challenge and save the confirmation page for reference.

The NTA has clarified that challenges submitted without payment of the processing fee or through any other mode will not be accepted.

All challenges raised by candidates will be examined by subject experts. If a challenge is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly and applied uniformly for all candidates. The final result of UGC NET December 2025 will be prepared and declared based on the revised final answer key. The agency has also stated that no individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenge.
