She added, "I can't believe I’m nominated against them or even in this room right now.”
Speaking of Sabrina’s favorite artists, the “House Tour” singer recently collaborated with Taylor Swift on the titular song of Taylor’s newest album, The Life of a Showgirl. Taylor—who became friends with Sabrina when she was an opener for her Eras Tour—asked Sabrina to work on the tune, making the 26-year-old the only featured artist on the pop album.
“She was so gracious to think of me for a song that spoke to our life experiences in such a real, genuine way,” Sabrina told Variety in 2025. "It really sums up what so many young women in this industry go through.”
And Taylor’s authenticity is something Sabrina has tried to emulate as she navigates her life in the spotlight—a position she’s inhabited for years, having been a Disney Channel star before pivoting to music.
“I’ve always been true to myself and believed in my work since I was young,” she told People in 2025. “I’ve realized that it’s always been about the small baby steps that you take over time to get you to this point.”
Sabrina has shared this sentiment before, as she’s a firm believer in “divine timing.”
“There are moments in everyone's life where the stars align,” she explained with Paper Magazine in 2024. “But it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't spent the last years working so hard. Not for these things that are happening now, but just working so hard to feel true to my own voice and excited about the things I'm making.”
