Samantha Ruth Prabhu married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru earlier this month.

Now, the actress has returned to social media, sharing a series of pictures that appear to be from the couple’s honeymoon in Lisbon, Portugal.

There’s a serene shot of Samantha praying in a church, and a back view of her gazing down a scenic road. Other images show her embracing the tourist experience, strolling through the city in a pink beanie, stopping at a cafe, this time in a black beanie, and enjoying a sunlit beach. The post also features several iconic landmarks of Lisbon, culminating in a caption that reads: “How December goes.”

Earlier this month, even as fans celebrated the wedding photos online, the announcement also sparked speculation and questions about the couple’s relationship, Raj’s ex-wife Shyamali, and the filmmaker’s marital status. Amid the chatter, Raj’s sister, Sheetal, shared a family portrait from the wedding on Instagram, featuring herself, their parents, her sons, and the newlyweds. She addressed the speculation in her caption, noting that the tears captured in the photo were not of sorrow but of gratitude. She wrote: “Not tears of pain… but tears of gratitude. Gratitude for the peace I feel in this moment, for the clarity that has settled around our family, and for the deep sense of ‘gentle alignment’ in Raj and Samantha’s journey.”

Samantha Ruth Prabh and Raj Nidmoru first collaborated on the Amazon Prime Video series The Family Man 2, followed by Citadel: Honey Bunny, where their relationship reportedly blossomed. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya; the couple separated in 2021 after four years of marriage. Naga has since married actor Sobhita Dhulipala.
