The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has announced the schedule for the Telangana Common Entrance Tests (TG CETs) 2026, which will be conducted for admissions into professional courses for the academic year 2026–27. The tests will be held as computer-based examinations across May and June 2026.
According to a note issued by TGCHE Secretary, Sriram Venkatesh, on Tuesday (December 30, 2025), the TG EAPCET, conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), will be held on May 4 and 5 for Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, followed by the Engineering stream on May 9, 10 and 11. The examination is conducted for admissions into B.E., B.Tech., B.Pharmacy, Pharma D and related programmes.
The TG EDCET for admission into the B.Ed. programme will be conducted by Kakatiya University on May 12. The TG ICET, which facilitates admissions into MBA and MCA programmes, will be organised by Mahatma Gandhi University on May 13 and 14.
Osmania University will conduct the TG ECET for lateral entry into B.E., B.Tech. and B.Pharmacy courses on May 15. The TG LAWCET for admissions into three-year and five-year LLB programmes will be held on May 18, while the TG PGLCET for admission into the LLM programme will also be conducted by Osmania University on the same day.
For postgraduate technical and professional courses, the TG PGECET will be conducted by JNTUH from May 28 to May 31 for admissions into M.E., M.Tech., M. Pharm., M. Arch. and Pharma D (PB) programmes. The TG PECET, conducted by Satavahana University, will be held from May 31 to June 3 and will include physical efficiency and skill tests for admissions into B.P.Ed. and U.G.D.P.Ed. programmes.
“Detailed notifications containing information on eligibility criteria, application process and registration fees will be issued separately by the respective CET conveners in due course,” the note said.
