Of her time with the Iman Amongst Men host, Teyana has no plans to change the narrative surrounding their love story for artistic gain.

“One thing I don’t do is rewrite history,” the All’s Fair star told Vanity Fair. “When I love, my love is real. So whatever you’ve seen was a real display of love until there was no more. And that’s OK.”

Indeed, Teyana put a form of real love on display seven months after finalizing her divorce, with actor Aaron Pierre. Despite speculation that the pair called it quits, two months after making their debut on the red carpet, the A Thousand and One star addressed their shared work ethic.

“I think we’re both working our asses off and doing what we gotta do,” Teyana told the publication, “and that’s amazing.”
