After months of waiting, BTS has finally announced a long, multi-continent comeback world tour this year. The K-pop septet on Wednesday finally announced the venues and dates across four continents which will last for 12 months. It’ll kick off in their home turf of South Korea in April and go on for a year till March 2027, with over 70 dates across Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe.

The BTS ARMY in India were waiting with bated breath for them to announce India as a part of their Asia leg. The excitement kicked off when BTS member V responded to a fan during a WeVerse chat last month and said, “Namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year.” The Indian K-pop fans took that casual greeting as an unofficial confirmation of BTS’ maiden concert in India in 2026.

BTS’ talent management agency HYBE, which had set up its India operations a few years ago, also kickstarted on-ground activities in the country last year. In partnership with BookMyShow Live, they brought Jung Kook’s special exhibition GOLDEN: The Moments for the first time to India with its inaugural edition held in Mumbai from December 16, 2025 to January 11.

However, at the exclusive preview of that exhibition, Anil Sharma, COO – Live Entertainment & Venues, BookMyShow, said, “It’ll take time to get BTS to India. But with GOLDEN, The Moments, at least we’ve started a conversation with HYBE.” When asked to clarify when BTS will be performing in the country (and if it’s 2026?), Sharma just said, “This is just the trailer. The best is Yet To Come,” invoking BTS’ popular 2022 song.

Fret not, ARMY in India, because there are ample options to attend BTS’ comeback concert this year, if international travel is feasible for you. Here’s their full schedule for 2026-2027 announced so far. Spanning 34 cities with 79 performances, it will be the largest-ever single tour by a K-pop group in terms of total shows.

The world tour — their first in four years — will kick off in South Korea’s Goyang on April 9, with two additional concerts in the band’s home country before moving on to neighbouring Japan. They will then head to the US and Europe, with the tour ending in March 2027 in Manila. The band’s label said that more cities will be announced for next year, including additional stops in Japan and the Middle East. One can hope India is a part of that next phase, but for now, here’s where all you can attend BTS concerts.
