Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 35 Worldwide Update: Ranveer Singh starrer earns Rs 4.25 crore.
Dhurandhar box office collection Day 35 worldwide Update: Actor Ranveer Singh’s highest-grossing film of all time, Dhurandhar, which is also the highest grossing Hindi film of all time, seems to be finally entering its twilight zone. The Aditya Dhar directorial has broken almost every conceivable box office record in the country and has earned over Rs 790 crore in India. As it approaches its sixth weekend, the makers of the film will be eyeing that Rs 800 crore mark, and it might take them the entire weekend to do so. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 4.25 crore on day 35 of its theatrical run.
When considering the worldwide numbers, Dhurandhar has minted Rs 1233 crore net, and the closest target is Sukumar’s Pushpa 2 The Rule, which made Rs 1742 crore during its run. While this record seems unattainable with the current pace of daily collections, Dhurandhar should be able to beat the film in Hindi net collection, where, despite primarily being a Telugu film, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 812 crore. Dhurandhar is Rs 22 crore shy of that number. However, as per Jio Studios, the film has already made Rs 831.4 crore at the box office.
Despite slowing down, the Dhar directorial is still holding on to 3654 shows, which is beyond impressive for a film entering its sixth week at the theatres. The film has had James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash scraping away at its collection since mid-December. Later, Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis jumped in and took away some set of eyeballs. Now the race is going to be joined by the Prabhas-led movie, The Raja Saab, which could possibly damage Dhurandhar’s collection.
The occupancy rates for the film averaged out at 10.81%, with the morning and afternoon shows bringing rates of 6.24% and 11.60%. The evening and night shows didn’t improve the numbers by much and achieved rates of 12.51% and 12.89%. Even with the slow pace, Dhurandhar is likely to cross the Rs 800 crore mark by day 38 of its theatrical run.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the cast of Dhurandhar includes Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
