As for the speculation that Carol will wake up and discover everything was a dream, that’s not one Rhea buys into. Having worked with creator Vince Gilligan on Pluribus and previously on Better Call Saul, she believes he would consider that kind of ending “too cheap” and not rewarding for viewers.
For Karolina, she is enjoying the way fans are receiving the show. "I love the conversations that people [are] having," she told E!. “I wrote that to Vince, actually, I said, 'Vince, you've created something that makes people think and not numb out.' And how incredible is that?"
Ultimately, Rhea, who was nominated for a 2026 Golden Globe for her role in Pluribus, confirmed she has “no idea” what Vince has planned for the show. But with the world on the brink and Carol holding more power than ever, season two promises consequences on a global scale.
