The car gifted was a Mahindra BE 6.

A Delhi startup employee was left speechless after his company’s founders surprised him with a brand-new car, a moment that has since struck a chord with netizens.

Rahul Ojha, the first employee of Indian streetwear label Bluorng, had no idea what was coming when he attended a casual house party with his colleagues. Midway through the gathering, co-founders Siddhant Sabharwal and Mokam Singh called everyone’s attention and began speaking about their journey as a team, before turning the spotlight on Ojha.

In a now-viral video, Sabharwal is heard reflecting on the highs and lows of working together and Ojha’s constant presence through it all. “It’s very tough to work with us. I have always pestered Rahul a lot. He has always been available,” he says, drawing laughs and nods from the team. He goes on to add that startups don’t just need skill sets, but people who can act as “a wall, a support which is more than just work.”

Then came the unexpected announcement. Addressing Ojha in front of everyone, Sabharwal said, “Rahul, f**k the metro from tomorrow,” before handing him the keys to a car. The room instantly burst into cheers as colleagues clapped, hugged him, and celebrated the moment.

The surprise wasn’t over yet. Soon after, the team gathered outside around a vehicle covered with a red satin sheet. As the cover was pulled away, a Mahindra BE 6 was revealed. Ojha was seen getting into the driver’s seat, visibly emotional, and saying, “I’m shaking,” as his teammates congratulated him.

The video, shared with the text overlay “POV: Surprising our first hire with his first car,” quickly spread across social media.

The caption read, “Only because of @bluorng this was possible. An amazing start to 2026. Thank you for sticking by @rahulojha_.”

Viewers were quick to praise the founders for recognising loyalty in a meaningful way. An individual wrote, “That’s what loyalty deserves.” Another user commented, “That’s how you create a community!! Not Just talk about it.” A third person added, “All founders are smiling. Saving this to do this for my team.”

A fourth user commented, “That’s really amazing, hard work always needs to be appreciated.”

Bluorng was founded by Siddhant Sabharwal and Mokam Singh in 2020 and has grown into a recognised name in India’s streetwear space.
