The event places Jaipur at the centre of India’s expanding non-metro startup ecosystem, linking local innovation with global investors
Jaipur is set to host one of India’s largest entrepreneurial gatherings at the 10th edition of the TiE Global Summit (TGS), which will take place alongside the Rajasthan DigiFest from January 4-6, 2026, at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The three-day event is expected to draw more than 10,000 delegates, including founders, investors, policymakers, technologists and creative leaders, from over 50 countries.
The event will host 50+ sessions spanning core themes like AI, deeptech, fintech, agritech, proptech, healthtech, sportstech and mediatech. The Summit will blend high-level keynotes with panel discussions, startup pitch sessions under TGS100, TiE Women Global, TiE University finals, among other segments.
The Summit comes at a moment when regional innovation ecosystems are gaining traction beyond traditional metropolitan hubs. Today, Rajasthan hosts more than 7.2K startups under iStart, which have created over 42,500 jobs and facilitated investments exceeding INR 1,000 Cr across sectors.
With over 2,600 women-led startups, the total number of registered startups in the state is rising sharply, and the state government’s leadership sees the Summit as an opportunity to strengthen local and global linkages.
The Rajasthan government is expected to launch its AI policy and sign several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on AI partnerships with institutions such as IIT Delhi and national missions.
The Summit will feature a mix of thought leadership across policy, enterprise and culture, with a sharp focus on innovation in Rajasthan. Former Union minister Smriti Zubin Irani will open the series of dialogues with a fireside discussion on leadership and public service, followed by Rajasthan’s IT, youth affairs and sports minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who will join a discussion on catalysing youth-led innovation in the state.
On technology and governance, Union minister for electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw and Nvidia India MD Vishal Dhupar will share their insights in a panel focusing on the democratisation of AI and inclusion.
Rajasthan’s senior bureaucracy will also be represented, with V. Srinivas, IAS and chief secretary of Rajasthan, speaking on governance challenges amid digital transformation.
Founders and investors like Wamda Capital executive chairman and Aramex founder Fadi Ghandour will share insights from their entrepreneurial journeys. Investment-focused sessions will feature participants including HDFC Asset Management Company MD and CEO Navneet Munot and Kotak Mahindra Asset Management MD Nilesh Shah, as they explore capital strategies for India’s growth story.
Entrepreneurs including Agnikul Cosmos cofounder and CEO Srinath Ravichandran, Urban Company cofounder and CEO Raghav Chandra, NODWIN Gaming cofounder and MD Akshat Rathee, Zostel cofounder and chairman Dharamveer Singh Chauhan, and EaseMyTrip cofounder Rikant Pittie will also share their insights during the three-day summit.
The agenda also brings voices beyond policy and finance. Actor and businessman Vivek Oberoi is scheduled to speak about his entrepreneurial journey beyond conventional paths, while actor and BackBay cofounder Bhumi Pednekar will discuss building conscious businesses for a changing world.
Creative and cultural perspectives will also feature, with Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, chairman of Lake Palace Trade & Travels, and Chuks Collins, a multidisciplinary artist and designer.
Former Indian tennis player and sports commentator Vijay Amritraj will join a session on representing India on the global stage. A segment on sustainable businesses and climate will feature Indian composer and environmentalist Ricky Kej, alongside Aavishkaar Group founder and vice chairman Vineet Rai.
Beyond sessions and pitches, the programme will feature a Global Investor Meet, networking ecosystems, and exhibitions showcasing startups and technology demonstrations.
The TiE Global Awards dinner, scheduled for January 6 at the Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, will bring together leaders, sponsors, and select delegates in a formal setting to honour contributions across sectors.
For the local ecosystem, the TiE Global Summit’s arrival in Jaipur signals a widening of India’s startup geography. Hosting the flagship event in a non-metro location adds a new dimension to how entrepreneurial communities across the country connect with global capital and ideas.
