Another user also noticed the interaction and wrote, “I hope they get back together.”
Despite fans’ hopes for a romantic reunion, Alix confirmed she and the Houston Texas wide receiver amicably decided to end their relationship earlier this month.
“Braxton and I are no longer together,” she tearfully told fans in a Dec. 13 TikTok video. “We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me.”
Leading up to their split, Alix relocated to Los Angeles to compete on DWTS’ 34th season while Braxton traveled to complete his NFL season. And while these opportunities allowed them to hit new milestones in their careers, they couldn’t ignore how their time apart put a strain on their communication.
“I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place,” she reflected. “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs. I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him.”
Even though the former couple decided to part ways, Alix will always have a soft spot for Braxton.
“I love Braxton. He’s my best friend, you know?” she admitted. “So it’s been really difficult as we’re trying to go forward with this. It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it sucks. We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or to be mean to him.”
After months of romance speculation, Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios walked the red carpet together at the 2023 ESPYS in July.
In late September, the NFL player shared this sweet photo of the TikToker supporting him on the sidelines.
Alix shared this PDA pic on Instagram in October, writing, "hbd nfl man."
The couple took a trip to the Bahamas in November during the Miami Dolphins' bye week.
Braxton posted a series of pics from the getaway on his Instagram page, writing, "Worth the wait."
