Dhurandhar box office collection day 20: Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has emerged as a hit, despite being surrounded by many controversies. The Ranveer Singh starrer is creating history and breaking new box office records everyday. After completing another glorious Wednesday in its third week, the film has crossed the Rs 600 crore mark in India, with Rs 607.25 crores nett collection. On day 20, Dhurandhar minted Rs 17.75 crore, taking its worldwide total to Rs 935.75 crore.
The film had earned Rs 207.25 crore in its first week and Rs 253.25 crore in its second week. On Wednesday, Dhurandhar had an overall occupancy of 32.52% at the theatres, with morning shows recorded at 17.35%, afternoon shows at 31.60%, evening shows registered at 37.17%, and night shows at 43.96%.
With Rs 935.75 crore, Dhurandhar has now surpassed Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 921.93 crore), and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (Rs 915 crore). The film is now inches away from surpassing Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 1042.25 crore). It remains to be seen if the spy-thriller drama will face fresh competition from Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday starrer romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
Dhurandhar has collected around Rs 111.75 crores in India, in just 4 days of the third week, beating the entire third week collection of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which earned Rs 103 crores in Hindi. Dhurandhar had also registered the biggest second week, breaking several records in the Indian cinema history. The film has become the biggest-grossing Indian film of 2025, at overseas and worldwide box office. The movie is expected to reach Rs 1000 crore as it is expected to get a significant bump from the Christmas weekend.
Besides Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Dhurandhar 2 is set to hit the theatres on March 19.
