Women’s Hockey India League will return for its second edition with four teams in foray for the title with first match scheduled for Saturday between Ranchi Royals and SG Pipers.
The tournament will have four teams: Soorma Hockey Club, Ranchi Royals, Sharchi Bengal Tigers, and SG Pipers. Ranchi Royals have replaced the defending champions Odisha Warriors after they withdrew from this year’s tournament.
All the four teams will play each other twice in the league phase and the top two will make it to the final on January 10.
All the matches will take place at Ranchi’s Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium.
