Brittany Mahomes Shares Recovery Update More Than a Year After Back Injury

"Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously,” she wrote alongside a selfie at the time. "From: A girl with a fractured back."

Just three short months later, Kristy offered an encouraging update on Brittany, alongside a video of her lifting smaller weights, she wrote, "Back poppin. Back pain has resolved so we are slowly getting back to overhead lifts with lighter weight."

Indeed, Brittany was happy to confirm that she healed from her injury, telling E! News at the time, "I'm doing great. I'm living my best life. My back is no longer broken, so that's good."

Fast-forward to present day, the Mahomes family is also working through another setback. Last month, Patrick suffered a season-ending injury after tearing his ACL in his knee during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Dec. 14 face-off against the Los Angeles Chargers.

“Don’t know why this had to happen,” Patrick, also 30, wrote on X Dec. 14. “And not going to lie it’s hurts. But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again. Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers.”

Remaining optimistic, the quarterback added, “I Will be back stronger than ever.”
