After NEET UG paper leak, education minister Dharmendra Pradhan announces computer-based exams from next year

Dharmendra Pradhan (PTI file photo) "> NEW DELHI: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday announced that NEET UG exams will go computer based from next year, while clarifying on the alleged irregularities in the examination, he said that the government has "zero tolerance towards malpractices. Meanwhile, the NTA, earlier in the day, announced that the NEET UG re-examination will now be conducted on Sunday, June 21.

Neet Ug 2026 Cancelled: NTA cancels NEET UG 2026 examination, fresh test dates to be announced separately

The NEET was taken by 24 lakh candidates. Revised examination dates, together with the schedule for issuance of fresh admit cards, will be announced through the official channels of the Agency in due course. The NTA said, it is conscious that the decision to re-conduct the examination will impose substantial inconvenience upon candidates and their families.
