GHMC begins 18 link road works connecting major thoroughfares
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has started the third phase of link roads at various locations in the city, taking forward the project first conceptualised more than six years ago. Slip roads as a go-around of major junctions The roads were first planned in 2019 by the Town Planning wing of the GHMC, along with slip roads-- which are laid as a go-around of major junctions where traffic is heavy. Officials informed that works have already been launched where right of way exists, and at other locations, property acquisition is underway.
