She also emphasized that she's not around dogs, cats or horses every day, "so that's not really what's causing my issue."
In the caption of her TikTok, Mikayla—mom to son Beckham, 8, and daughters Haven, 6, Tommie, 4, and Lottie, 6 months, with husband Jace Terry—expressed her ongoing frustrations, writing, "I always get such mixed emotions going to these apts, just hoping for new answers every time but getting nothing."
"I did one of these test like 2 years ago and had the same findings," she explained. "Going to try cutting out both milk and eggs and see if that helps the hives/ allergic reaction rashes I’ve been dealing with recently!"
Mikayla first disclosed on TikTok in May 2023 that she has dealt with chronic eczema since childhood. At the time, she also said she experienced flare-ups on her face after getting breast implants in March of that year.
However, the issues persisted and in September 2024, the influencer shared more about her mysterious skin flare-ups with her Instagram followers, noting that they popped up again after Tommie's birth in November 2021.
Things got worse when she started filming the first season of Mormon Wives as Mikayla revealed she had been “fighting for my life."
"Showing up for filming the whole first season was not only physically exhausting but extremely mentally challenging," she wrote in an Instagram post in September 2024. "I was really really struggling."
The mom of four shared more about her journey in January 2025, saying that she had been "suffering silently with chronic illness while showing up as best I could to film a reality show."
She added that she had spent all of 2024 "removing all toxic things, both from my body and my life."
