Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 31 Update: Ranveer Singh's film bounces back to double digits on fifth weekend.
Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 31 Update: Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, surprised the trade yet again by bouncing back into double digits on its fifth weekend. It’s already become the first Indian film to score double digits at the domestic box office every day even in its fourth week. However, that momentum finally slowed down on Friday when the film dropped below Rs 10 crore.
On Friday (day 29), Dhurandhar earned Rs 8.75 crore, which was a significant decline (44.44%) from its Thursday (day 28) earnings of Rs 15.75 crore. It was the first day in its almost month-long run that the film managed to earn only in a single digit within a day. However, it bounced back to double digits thanks to the weekend.
On Saturday (day 30), Dhurandhar added another Rs 11.75 crore to its domestic box office haul, showing no signs of slowing down even in its fifth week. On Sunday (day 31), the film earned Rs 12.75 crore, takings its total collection in India to Rs 772.25 crore, as per Sacnilk.
Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh’s movie is already the highest grossing Bollywood film in India, after surpassing blockbusters like Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava from last year, Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 (2023), and Atlee’s Jawan (2023).
However, Dhurandhar is still not the highest-grossing Indian film at the domestic box office. Across languages, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, earned Rs 1,234.10 crore in India and continues to hold the record as the highest-grossing Indian film domestically.
Production house Jio Studios also announced on Sunday that Dhurandhar has entered the coveted Rs 800 crore club in India, with earnings of Rs 806.80 crore. With this milestone, the Ranveer Singh-starrer became the first original Hindi film to cross the Rs 800 crore mark at the domestic box office.
At the worldwide box office, Dhurandhar has already entered the Rs 1100 crore club, amassing over Rs 1188 crore. As it inches closer to the Rs 1200 mark at the global box office, it may soon be able to challenge KFG: Chapter 2, which stands at Rs 1215 crore, and RRR, which stands at Rs 1230 crore, which are the fourth and fifth highest Indian grossers worldwide so far. This brings Dhurandhar among top 5 Indian earners ever.
However, Dhurandhar has miles to go before it can come even close to the top 3 — Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 1742.10 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1788.06 crore), and Nitesh Tiwari’s 2016 Bollywood family sports drama Dangal (Rs 2070.30 crore). If the Rs 1200 crore haul of Dangal from the Chinese box office is excluded, Dhurandhar is already the highest grossing Hindi film of all time globally.
