"Thank you, thank you, thank you," Ariana wrote on Instagram in December shortly after the nominations were announced, "@criticschoice for this acknowledgement and for including me in this magnificent group of performances. i loved these films, i love these women. i am deeply honored."

As for TV shows that were also honored with nominations, fan-favorites including Severance and Hacks were those who among those vying for a trophy.

This year’s ceremony marks Chelsea’s fourth consecutive time hosting, with the comedian promising double the laughs ahead of time.

“Kicking off the year with the Critics Choice Awards feels right," the Chelsea Lately alum shared in her November announcement. "Nothing says ‘new beginnings’ like a room full of critics ready to tell you how you did last year."
