It’s wedding season at the Sanon household as Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur is set to tie the knot with singer and longtime boyfriend Stebin Ben this weekend in Udaipur. Earlier this week, the entire family, led by Kriti and her rumoured boyfriend Kabir Bahia, was spotted arriving in the city to kick off the festivities. Now, new videos from the sangeet and haldi ceremonies are making rounds on social media, offering a glimpse of the celebrations. Kriti can be seen putting on a special performance for her sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law.
In one of the videos, Kriti is seen dancing alongside actor and close friend Varun Sharma to the popular Bhojpuri track, “Lollypop Lageli.” Both appear to be having a blast, with the couple cheering them. In another video, Kriti dances with her mother, Geeta Sanon, to “Dil Tu Jaan Tu,” with her mother visibly emotional during the performance. Another clip shows Kriti shaking a leg with Nupur as they perform “Sajanji Vaari Vaari.”
Haldi ceremony videos have also gone viral, with Nupur and Stebin dressed in radiant yellow outfits, welcomed by an energetic band performing “Balle Balle.” In another clip, Kriti joins the guests on the dance floor, helping set the festive mood for the ceremony.
Following in her sister’s footsteps, Nupur has also tried her hand at acting. She began her career with the music video Filhall and later appeared in the Telugu film Tiger Nageswara Rao. She will next be seen in director Navaniat Singh’s Noorani Chehra, marking her Hindi film debut. Stebin Ben is a playback singer who first went viral with his cover of “Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai” and gained widespread attention with the song “Sahiba.”
Kriti Sanon, meanwhile, is busy filming Cocktail 2, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, which is slated to hit theatres this year. She was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s romantic musical Tere Ishq Mein, which went on to collect Rs 116.71 crore at the box office.
