His comments come after Quinton’s wife Margarita told TMZ Jan. 26 that the Halfway actor had been placed on life support four days after being hospitalized following a collapse at his home. She recalled rushing Quinton to a doctor after he lost feeling in his legs and fell while walking up the stairs, according to the outlet. After running several tests, doctors determined the actor has a blood infection, though they are still doing further research.
E! News reached out to a rep for Quinton for comment but has not heard back.
But even with Quinton being on life support, his wife is hopeful that he will recover soon. After all, she shared that he is only partially using the life-saving equipment to breathe.
Describing her husband as a "fighter," Margarita added, "He's showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered."
