And once they walked down the aisle, she recalled, “They asked him and he said yes and I was like, ‘OK, sure, let’s do it.’”
Though Colleen originally thought she wasn’t going to “walk away married,” she shared that as she and Matt progressed through the reality TV dating show, “Both of us were like, ‘Let's just do it. Let’s just say yes to each other in this moment.’”
And although she and Matt ultimately parted ways, announcing their divorce in May after four years together, Colleen still maintains, “I had a blast on Love Is Blind.”
Indeed, the former couple emphasized their appreciation for each other and their experience on the Netflix dating show in their joint breakup statement last year.
"We met in the most unique and unexpected way, and we'll always be grateful for the love and memories we've shared,” they wrote on Instagram at the time. "There's not one thing we would change and we continue to have deep respect and care for one another."
