OnePlus has officially launched the Turbo 6 series in China. Powered by mid-range Snapdragon chipsets, the Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V feature huge 9,000mAh batteries. While OnePlus is yet to confirm if these phones will be launched globally, rumours suggest they will be coming to India as the next addition to the company’s popular Nord series.

Talking of specifications, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is backed by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Like the newly launched OnePlus 15, it has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.

On the back, you get a dual camera setup enclosed in a squarish camera island that houses a 50MP primary sensor in addition to a 2MP monochrome lens.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus Turbo 6V is the more affordable of the duo. Featuring the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, the phone comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It has the same screen size and resolution as the OnePlus Turbo 6, but the refresh rate is slightly less at 144Hz. The camera capabilities also remain the same.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 and the OnePlus Turbo 6V both run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box, but if these phones make it to India, chances are they will be running the latest OxygenOS. Both devices pack a 9,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 starts at CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs 27,247), while the OnePlus Turbo 6V has a slightly lower price tag of CNY 3,099 (approximately Rs 40,228); however, they may cost a bit more in India.  OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch another smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, which is said to feature a 9,000mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
