American director and actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michele have been found dead at their Los Angeles home, according to media reports.

A spokesperson for Reiner's family confirmed the director and his wife died, CNN reported.

Earlier, authorities had said that two bodies were found at Reiner's home in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood.
