Before stepping into politics full time, Vijay is set to make his final on-screen appearance with the political actioner Jana Nayagan. The film’s audio launch is scheduled to take place on December 27 at the world-renowned Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On Friday morning, a clip shared on X showed Vijay leaving for Malaysia along with his family for the event. Dressed casually in a black shirt and pants, the actor was seen smiling and waving at fans and paparazzi gathered at the airport to catch a glimpse of the superstar.

While Vijay and Anirudh Ravichander are en route, the music composer’s team has already touched down in Malaysia. The film’s official production house, KVN Productions, took to X to share a video of Anirudh’s team receiving a warm welcome at the airport and expressing their excitement ahead of the grand audio launch, which is expected to have more than 90,000 attendees.

In another clip shared by the production house, singers Swetha Mohan and SP Charan were seen arriving in the country and exiting the airport, while also sharing their enthusiasm for the upcoming event. Meanwhile, a fan posted photos of choreographer Prabhu Deva, filmmaker Nelson, and playback singer Anuradha Sriram posing for the camera as they gear up for the audio launch tomorrow.

Jana Nayagan, which is scheduled for release on January 9, features a star-studded ensemble cast led by Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Narain. The audio launch is said to be hosted by popular television anchors Rio Raj and Mirchi Vijay. The event is being held in Malaysia as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incidents, following the massive stampede that occurred earlier this year during Vijay’s political rally in Karur.
