The Fate of The Pitt Revealed Ahead of Season 2 Premiere

The Pitt is heading into the new year with a golden record, as the series took home Best Drama Series, Best Actor in a Drama Series (Noah) and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Katherine LaNasa) at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.

And when Scott took the stage to accept the award alongside the cast, he was sure to shine a spotlight on the show's inspiration.

After thanking the studio, the cast and crew, he concluded, "I really want to thank the first responders and the healthcare workers who are there for us every single day when we need them most."

The series had also earned four Emmy Awards at the 2025 awards show, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Once again, the cast was sure to highlight the real heroes in their story, with Noah even wearing a suit designed by scrubs company FIGS.

"We were in New York at the Gotham Awards and I was wearing a tuxedo," he recalled to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, "someone asked me if it was as comfortable as the scrubs I wear to work. So, I looked into the camera and I made a challenge to FIGS."

The brand—which, in addition to dressing healthcare workers globally, is behind the scrubs the cast of The Pitt wear on set—was up for it, with Noah added, "They went and did it. They put all their special touches all over it."
