(IKKIS was initially scheduled for the twenty-fifth(25th), but will now be on the twenty-sixth (26th), on the first (1st); Some astrologers said, “Brother, it’s a good omen, keep going, just keep going!!”)”

While many shared their best wishes for Agastya’s film, a fan ended up asking Big B if he saw Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar yet.
In the comment section, a fan wrote, (Sir, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fun announcement about the release date of “21”! Releasing it on January 26th, based on astrological advice, truly seems like an auspicious sign. Best wishes to the entire team, we’re all eagerly waiting. By the way, have you seen the recently released film ‘Dhurandhar’? Featuring powerful performances from Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna and packed with thrilling action, this film is inspired by true events and is a massive hit at the box office. You should definitely watch it, you’ll love it!)
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh too shared via X that how this is the third time when Dinesh Vijan moved a film’s release and shared on X, “#BreakingNews… DINESH VIJAN’S WISE MOVE – ‘IKKIS’ SHIFTS TO 1 JAN 2026… 2017: #HindiMedium smartly shifted to a later date once #Baahubali2 locked its release. 2024: #Chhaava avoided a direct clash with #Pushpa2 and moved to 2025. The postponement of #HindiMedium and #Chhaava worked to their advantage, with both eventually enjoying a clear run.”
He added, “#DineshVijan has done it for the third time… #Ikkis, originally slated for release on 25 Dec 2025, will now arrive a week later, on 1 Jan 2026.#Dhurandhar is creating havoc at the boxoffice and shows no signs of slowing down… Plus, #Avatar – the #Hollywood giant – will have an extensive release in #India this Friday [19 Dec 2025]. Neither film is likely to surrender screens or prime shows during the #Christmas week.”
He concluded the post saying, “The decision to shift the release of #Ikkis ahead makes perfect business sense… Besides being a solo release on 1 Jan 2026, #Ikkis is assured of its share of shows at prime properties.”
Ikkis also marks the final big-screen appearance of legendary actor Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24 this year. The film stars debutant Simar Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s niece, alongside Agastya Nanda.
