"It’s very different," she said in a The New York Times interview, without specifically mentioning Joaquim's name. "It is very honest, and it’s very transparent."
And though Gisele has been fostering a spirit of openness with her new husband, she has been adamant about keeping their romance out of the public spotlight. After all, she considers herself to be a "very private person."
"I like staying home," she told IGN in 2004. "I hate talking about my private life."
Still, the runway icon has offered small glimpses into her home life, which includes raising her and ex Tom's kids Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 13, as well as her 10-month-old.
"Now that my little one is sleeping through the night, I'm regaining control of my schedule," she told Vogue France in May. "As every new mom knows, it's incredible how much sleep, or lack thereof, can change everything! But again, I feel truly grateful: being able to be home with my children and enjoy every moment with them is priceless."
